Notes About The Poem

Calliope: Muse of Epic Poetry by Charles Meyner, 1798

waiting for a poem

waiting
for a poem
to find its way to me
perhaps the full moon is bringing
the muse

perhaps
the full moon and summer solstice
will be eager to share
their soft mingling
with me

the one
who awaits fate
the one who has chosen
a more singular existence
within

the rhyme
of sun moon day night galaxy
universe multiverse
and that which waits
beyond

Waiting, the muse perhaps with me, the one within the rhyme~ beyond.

We never crossed paths. So many poets to read. But your poem is very interesting.
