Waiting

I was left in solitude
to bear the pain
by myself.

Chasing a dream
which I knew
would never become true.

Hoping to see
my other half
, but instead waiting.

Waiting to stand together,
hand-in-hand.

Waiting to see
the face of sunshine
once again.

But yet like no other,
I have the will
to shine onto
my objective.

And hopefully
I will never be locked
in chains.
Confirmed to
a jail sentence....
