Waiting

Raindrops on the window,
Knocks from another world.
Voices from within
Pleading to be heard.

Drizzles, moistening
The days and nights,
The already moist sky,
The moist earth,
And in between
The moist heart.

Sleepless nights,
Funless day.
Waiting for something
To turn up, though they say.

It is here.
Already.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.

Hello Swarup Mohalik, so nice to meet you. We all have our sleepless nights with or without rain. I like the rain the of it makes me sleep even better when the wind blows. Have a nice day my friend.
