Waiting

You are my essence.
In the beginning
there was you.
Life began
and ended
with you.

You are drowning
your sorrows.
So am I.
The universe
never makes mistakes.
We do.

Over a glass of wine
the words spill out
the storm subsides
the clouds disperse
and all that's left
is you
with a capital Y

Our souls are one
you cannot undo it
You can try
and then
here I am

Your soul
My soul

One

Waiting.
