Wait, Be Still

A few more pieces fell out from under you today. Did you feel it ? I'm sure you didn't see it, and you probably didn't hear. Some chips and pebbles fell almost inaudibly on the quietly waiting rocks, and some dropped into the water, you'd have liked that. Wait. Just wait right there, right here. I cannot let you go. Some day, but not today. Be still a while, you do it so well. They won't let you go, they won't let me let you go. Some day surely, but I can't let you go today. 7th March 2020

Eroded by wind, water, or other natural agents, slow , but surely one day will let go. But not today. Enjoyed reading " Wait, Be Still," Lawrence. Thank you for your kind visit today. Hugs Eve

Thanks for visit and comment, Harry, very well received. Your interpretation is unexpected, and very intriguing. In a roundabout way, maybe closer to the crux than I might have considered.

Lawrence, here I feel you dancing lightly but with deft along the marginal crest that shifts us, unsettled, between what is real and imagined. How well you have navigated that realm with this write, leaving us uncertain as to where we will be guided next. I admire the notable skill with which you evinced these mysterious moods.

"I cannot let you go" Then you shouldn't let go. Not today, not tomorrow- not ever. So many thoughts to ponder here. You always take me somewhere deep and meaningful, when I read your poetic whispers. You have been missed. ~ Brandy
