Waist Time

I love you little bluebird
From me it does exude
I want to tell you something
I'm in that kind of mood

I'm staring at the night sky
And thinking you are here
It's chilly, let me hold you
And whisper in your ear

I'll speak my heart in love notes
The best way I know how
Through words of tender romance
And if you would allow

I'll stand behind you placing
My arms around your waist
So close you'll feel me breathing
Between us there's no space

Perhaps you'll turn and face me
Your eyes and mine will meet
And under misty moonlight
I'll sweep you off your feet

Or try at least, I have ideas
Of how my love to show
And hope that you will like them
Perhaps someday I'll know
