Wadena mn

Simplier times, laughter, genuine heartfelt, conversations, children being children, fresh lemonade stand, neighbors being neighborly, these all define a special hometown feel..

Wadena in northern Minnesota, nothing special to those passing through on old hwy 10 or 71, but step into the neighborhood coffee shop the Boondocks, where the aroma of fresh coffee, cinnamon rolls, pancakes bigger than your plate, and you’ll be right at home.

The memories of my adopted home truly brings tears to my eyes, a town known by my dear husband as HOME, memories of morning trips to have breakfast with his dad and mom who became my family will always hold a dear place in my heart..

Let’s not forget the kindness, love, genuine heart felt talks, the belly laughs from the men in town reminiscing of their days in the army, times of playing ruffle ball, playing catch, planting gardens, a table full of sugar cookies, every Xmas, being together as a family.

My hometown will always be a quaint small town up in Northern Minnesota, Wadena, Minnesota
