VOYAGE
This fleeting journey we called life
Is filled with trials and strife
Of bumpy trails and winding roads
With albatross and heavy loads
In every step that we must make
We must paint marks on roads we take
For, this voyage comes only once
We might not get another chance
We must chart feats we call our own
And make a turn for every stone
So that one day we won't regret
Even when times seem to forget
Our boat is waiting for the ride
On waters, both narrow and wide
Let our hopes fuel our dreams
In this voyage on savage streams
3rd place
Voyage, veiled, vagabond poetry contest
