Voracious Thirst

Devoured by intensity,
  words that quench the soul
an enchanting intoxication - -
    like a spirited ******
      whetting a voracious thirst,
plunging in for another swallow
   of adoration's satiated climax

Can someone please tell me why I am sweating right now, who turned the damn heater on? Paloma, this was a seductive and sensual feast for the eyes and the mind. I may plunge into this one a few more times before I leave.

For sure; anything without total commitment is a waste of doing. How sad, to go through life, if looking good (which we all admire), perhaps always saying the right-sounding things, but no truth from depth of emotion translated to living experience. That only real-poetry, such as yours, can do for us. Great write! Thank for sharing.
