Eruption of Mount Vesuvius Gouache painting by Mauton, 1834.
Volcanos split the earth
Venting the heat within,
Vaulting upwards at rim.
Vermillion-burnt magma
Vrooms the molten lava-
Vailing, melting all paths;
Verily, countless deaths.
