Voices within the shadows
In a world enshrouded by shadows of fear,
Where voices of anguish are drowned in the night,
A poet's pen weaves the tales we hold dear,
Of struggles and sorrows, of wrongs and of right.
With each careful word, capture the pain,
The cries of the silenced, the tears of the meek,
In verses that echo like thunderous rain,
Unveiling the truths that the strong often seek.
The gift of the poet is to shine a light,
On the hearts that are burdened, the dreams that are lost,
To fight against darkness, to stand up and write,
For the hope of the many, no matter the cost.
So let the words flow, a river of change,
In this world full of trouble, their voice will arrange.
