Voices of Evil

Oh how I long to be free
Absent of the demons within
Voices of evil compelling me
Doing things that I know better than
Absent of the demons within
My heart can love again
Doing things that I know better than
Will never haunt me again
My heart can love again
Voices of evil compelling me
Will never haunt me again
Oh how I long to be free

this is nicely done, Joe. Pantoum, huh?I sure never heard about this one.I hope I can dig one of mine up right now off another site! thanks so much for commenting at my blog. It's very true what you said. WHen I was judge for some of shadowpoetry's contests before she closed them out, I was always liking poems different from the other two judges' choices and it killed me when my favs did not even make the top 20 list. that was so ridiculous! luv, andrea
