Voices

You're no good
You hear the voices tell you.
You're to fat
They whisper in your ear.
You'll never be enough
They say louder to you.
You're just pathetic 
The voices scream to you.
And you know it's true.
Everything they say
It's all true.
And you listen to the voices 
And you understand them.
You believe them 
And you trust them.
Because all the voices
Are you!

Jill Spagnola June 24, 2015 at 11:16 AM Wow! Belt it out lady, it's the only way to rid yourself of those inaccurate voices. It may sound like your voice, but it's not!! Someone or more put them there in your formative years and tricked you into believing they are true. I know this cause it was done to me too. I know that they all stem from people or events in my life and I've buried them for a long time. But putting into words the things I feel make those voices have less power over me.
