Voice of the Deserted

i feel pleasure within my pains, such are my days. An iota of joy in sadness, for everyone seemed to careless. cold under the scorching sun, and it all feels like fun. Laughter when i cry, only,do i face life's trial. The universe seems rectangular, my problems evolve circular. The sky now looks black, and sorrows makes the journey dark. Soaring in the skies without wings, so long, wishing for life's blings. I feel like swimming on the earth, for we have all become equal at the feet of death. -such is the voice of the deserted. "I AM HUMAN".

Well written Josh! I love how you've employed the use of oxymoron in your poem. And what you said about equality in death - that is the one thing every human has in common. Nicely done!
