Voice Is All Yours

Not sure if I made you happy
Or made you pretend like one
I felt you weren’t happy
Weren’t happy with none

Self and passion, Love and life
It is more than my pride, I gave them all
Surrendered and abandoned
Myself and more! All that I had, yes I gave them all…

Now I have none, to say it’s yours
If you try to wake up, you will find me all yours!
Early may be that I gave, to expect from you
Is more than grave!

All that I’ve given, I care not take back
Choice to make is not your part…
Right to leave is still all yours
No matter if it breaks, the voice is still yours!

A confident, fluid piece of prose with a profound aura. Well written Anusha!
