Voice
Life changed, faces changed climate changed and surroundings changed.
Seemed like I transitioned too, but apparently it wasn't so true.
Deep inside, I still wanted the same things,
to the core I was manipulated by the very strings.
From outside I was another version,
but somewhere I knew it was only a diversion.
Along the road, waiting when my heart says to stop,
blur out everything but you, edit your life and crop.
One day, I did hear a feeble sound,
long gone ray of light was again found.
Starting then, it was me against me,
since then it hasn't stopped, made me free.
As the strong winds pull me back,
my heart's timid voice pushes me forward on the track.
Won't ever let this voice fade out,
for this is the thing I can't live without.
