Each season spans a quarter of a year cold winter days can bring pure white snow, Wintry sunshine makes snowflakes disappear but little children don’t want the snow to go! Spring breezes in, making the gardens bright fragrant freesias release their sweet smell, Many colorful flowers bring such delight I can almost hear the chime of each bluebell! Summer hopefully brings lots of sunny days when we can spend time beside the sea, Enjoying the warmth of the sun’s rays golden sunbeams make people happy! Autumn, the most glorious season of them all I’ll kick through crispy leaves on the ground, Orange pumpkin’s are aglow when children call and Halloween trick and treater’s come around. 2/24/20

An excellent take on all four seasons, Jan. I also like how you matched it with Vivaldi's four violin concerti. Hugs // paul

Until about 50 years ago the music of Vivaldi was for all practial purposes dead to the world. Then a classical disk jockey called Dekoven (sp?) brought him to life. He's a big hit today. His 4 seasons is not a symphony in the classical sense, more a suite of musical pieces. I do enjoy his music. Black may not be a slimming color but on the right body it is striking. / M

Jan, a lovely walk through the four seasons and all the elements unique to each - I can almost hear that Vivaldi melody! Love your line, "I can almost hear the chime of each bluebell". GL in the Number contest. Hugs ~ John

Thanks for sharing this, poetically expressed, and picturesquely exposed, delighting me with the beauty of the four seasons. We only have wet and dry seasons here in the Philippines. Thanks likewise for your comments. I appreciate them. God bless you.
