Vitamin Sea

I went to the beach
For my vitamin sea
To drink in the zing
Of an orange setting sun
As it spritzed liquid gold
Onto zesty shimmering sand

People can get their vitamin D from basking in the sunshine. Vitamin C (ascorbic acid) is water soluble and is usually obtained by consuming citrus fruits and green leafy vegetables. Nevertheless, your poem is impressively descriptive.

Thank you Robert for your kind comments, it was the overall effect of the orange sunset that conjured the Vit C/SEA play on words and images- thank you for your input, blessings, Brenda : )

Thank you Brenda for your kind comments. I messed up the poem by cutting it down to 15 lines, but glad you still were able to enjoy it! Love, M :)

Sacrifice in length is hazardous sometimes to a poem, but your poem certainly read well so need not fear Maureen your inspiring message was heart felt. Love, Brenda : )
