The eyes have been
Far as long as I know
Two windows of the soul
I'm looking out
Somebody is always
Looking in
My Friend
Do we ever really see
What it is we seek
While taking oh so many
flights on the wings of a stare
All my life I've been trying to get there
the problem is nobody knows
Where it is
All my smiles
Every ounce of my laughter and cheer
Take my hand darling
Guide me
Confide in me if you will
You soothe me
this ailment you just can not heal
Honey you move me
but in the end I'll be right here standing still
when you finally decide to move on
Love is my house Love is my home
the door is always open to you you're more than welcome to stay awhile
I hope I meet your needs of comfort
plus whatever lush requirements of slumber you may want
But, Don't,
PLEASE!
Get too comfortable
Cause when it gets too dark or late
I'm going to have to ask you to leave
Maybe a long way from the right
not too far from the wrong
But since I've been alone brother and sister
Nothing has been permanent
Everybody is just a
Visitor.......
