Visiting Our Friend

We visited our friend
                      today,
             It has been many years,
              and she appears angry
                  this day.

              Giving us strong winds,
                   heavy rains,
                and still we walked,
                   trying to explain.

                 But she would have
                   have none of it.

                After time,
                    she may mellow,
                 but for now,
                  she seems perturbed.
