Visit me in my sleep you famous poets
Whisper in my other ear I use while asleep
The secrets of the kingdom of poetry
Tell me how you became elephants in poetry
I want to excel and fly above the clouds
Like lightning I want to flash light all minds
Let the words I scribble amuse all souls
And unveil hidden truth and feared wrongs
When I sit to write the contents of my mind
Release your fountain of creative thinking
to follow my pen into the page I work on
let me feel sparks of wisdom in me as I work
Assist me to coin heart-breaking phrases and pictures
That will intoxicate big minds and youth alike
To fall in love with every letter and dot I jot
Send sleep to steal them away only when tired
