Visions of Heaven
Sparkling pure crystal sea,
Awesome in brightness before the Almighty.
Sitting on brilliant sapphire throne,
Enveloped in emerald rainbow glow.
Multitudes of loving angels in place
Splendidly clad in hues so bold:
Ruby, topaz, jasper, jade,
Chrysolite, onyx, all set in Gold.
Heavenly shining jasper walls
Surrounding city of golden glass
Twelve foundations exquisite and bright
Each precious stone layer twinkling with delight.
Twelve pearly gates remaining wide open
Shining the light of the glory of Jehovah.
Illumination leading the pathway to life,
From the lamp of the Lamb and his dear cherished wife.
