Visionary Blues
Sounding so sweet
the blues singer
hits notes
which resound in the heart
Feel the empathy
Touch the deep resonating
chords with your mind
as you hear her
pour out her reality
The sound of the blues
is the sound of pain
It is bitter tears
transformed into melody
One can almost taste
those tears
when blues are sung with feeling
