Birdsong in the morning, droplets of dew
White fluffy clouds, glorious sunshine too
Moonlight and starlight remind me of you
A vision in all that comes into view.
In babbling brooks and soft breezes that blow
I glimpse the angel I lost and love so
All things are heightened in memories flow
Memoirs to cherish from long, long ago.
I visualise you in falling rain
The melody of your heart sung again
A lullaby of the sweetest refrain
Vision of mother in heaven's domain.
In a rainbow’s colourful hues are you
For you were a woman of colours too
Colour, you said, would brighten up our days
And I wear many colours too, always.
I observe you in the ice and snowfall
When you appear the prettiest of all
Your face a picture I’d place on a wall
It’s vision clear paradise is a ball.
