One of the worst things that Could ever happen to a virtuous person Is to find himself under the authority of Unethical people and be, constantly, judged by them! © Demetrios Trifiatis 29 APRIL 2020 *Unfortunately, we see this phenomenon in all walks of life when power passes into the hands of evil people who wish to punish all those that excel in virtue.

Lovely flower, meaningful verse. The world has to have rulers. In a democracy or a republic, we voters pretend we are ghosts and somebody else elected bad people? We have a lunatic for a gov in CA. No, I did not vote for him. But realize even non politicians can be tyrants Pamagiota cc Sillies ~ we did it, the egg is on our face.

My implication with politics was out of moral obligation: believing that I could make a difference but the system is so unethical. Here however I talk about the little dictators here and there who hold a position in small places but cause a lot of pain to many people. Thank you dearest, Maureen. Hugs xxx

What you say is true. We have big dictators and small dictators. The big we all see the little ones are among us holding positions here and there and use the little power they have to cause great harm to good people. Thank you so much dearest Julie. Hugs xxx

We see that time and time again Demetrios all over the world especially in countries ruled by tyrants and despots. I'm just grateful I live in a civilised country where I can vote and worship without fear of persecution. I feel for those who are constantly persecuted and imprisoned for their beliefs. Tom
