Virgin Birth

Virgin Birth By: Tom Wright 12/04/2006 The manger scene and virgin birth A savior was born as man, on earth. His virgin birth was just the start It took the cross to cleanse man’s heart. He lived a life without sin or dross For man giving himself upon the cross. Then came the tomb for his laconic stay But for three days there he would lay. Then he arose as in prophecy was said Ensuring man hope beyond the dead. Man in his body to sin will slave Christ gives us hope beyond the grave. So repent ye sinner time is a brief spell The option is ours, to choose Heaven or Hell! Life in one way is like a parking meter Where each on the edge of time will teeter But coins by us can’t extend each hour Our time is preset and beyond our power.
