can’t play a violin for ya honey
if ya never help
yourself,
we been waiting on your reconsiderations
we been waiting on the shelf---
we been watching from a distance
we been close up & no doubt
under every rock you’re gonna find a snake
so you got ta’ work it out
you got ta
got ta
got ta
know that there’s nowhere you’re gonna go
to get away from your problems or
to find a better show---
there is only this that you see
only this in which you flow &
if you’re in need of something or
someone else,
well, that is something you’ve got ta
outgrow.
