We welcome days of spring,
fledglings are on the wing;
I hear them sweetly sing
in skies of blue
Our farmer’s up at dawn
spring lambs are being born,
they’ll play from dusk till dawn
as babies do.
I’ve grown pretty flowers,
which brighten dark bowers.
I work out doors for hours,
do you do too?
Spring brings us wind and rain,
people moan, rains a pain.
My brolly broke again -
a damp hairdo!
I love the brighter days,
the warmth of the sun’s rays,
we must give thanks and praise
nature’s review.
