Violent To Violet Voices
I fight sleep like Muhammad Ali
Like I’m a newborn babe
I can be tired but still inspired
to write neon night away
But on this night I have a fright
feeling fuchsia limited choices
Is it a crime to lose your mind
When you keep hearing violent voices?
It’s my hazel hope there’s no ghost
For what would I do about it?
But unfold mahogany mind is broke
Makes you super sad to doubt it
If I say visiting spirit came one October eve
I could be indigo inviting all to true blue believe
Fear is that I heard a voice
because I am out of sorts
Fear is near that I am weird
and simply need the Lord
So I came to the emergency room
Not claiming to be clairvoyant or witch
Pills consumed made worse green gloom
Now violet voices bloom ain’t that a bxxxx!
