Vincent's Visions (Let Me Be!)

Outside the bounds
Of suffering
Within the song of soul
Precarious maestros play
Nocturnal notes forgotten
That flash and splash
Like rivers
Of silver-threaded
Raindrop pearls
Against my window pane

Memory unfolds
In silent mood
Drowning my emotion's
Failing grace
Leaving spectral drops
Of moisture's rainbow tears
Sheared from eyes
Long blind to life's reality

Concealed pain
Hidden deep inside
As darkness falls
Engulf me sweetly
In the succor of your sleep

Take this bitter life
Replete with pale shadows
Release the golden
Shimmering shades
Of sun's surreal caress

Give me peace
Hear my plea
Let me be

Although sad, the poem is well written with a great use of imagery to portray your feelings. Thanks for sharing. Caroline.
