Viking Sword

Blacksmith's massive hands delivering powerful hammer blows, beating glowing red steel  into submission. Sparks illuminating magnificent artistry. Fiercely wielded in the name of Odin. Tales heralded it's glory. Unearthed, virtually unscathed.                                        Instrument of death, 1,200 years at peace.

I am really into the show, "Vikings" and this certainly portrays the 'feeling' of their reality. Well written and a joy to read. Poetry hugs ... CayCay

Hello Peter Iversen, the vikings did a lot of fighting in those days. They also travelled a lot in their viking''s boats. Have a nice evening my friend.
