Vignette- Only the Lonely

A poet with a voice
and a popular choice
Tragedy dogged his life-
Emotion in a controlled cry..
Too early did it die.

As far as I'm concerned - he had one of the greatest voices of our time. He touched my soul with his music. You have captured his essence in its enterity, with these few lines. You do this so well, Brian. Lainie

Oh yes, he was huge. An awesome tribute to one of my favorites. Way too early indeed. Love, Shar

Here, here! Great write and great tribute, Brian. Thank you for your kind comments and support (and for keeping me abreast of the weather in Blighty! The sun is shining gloriously from a pure blue sky here, as I sit in the garden, drinking tea and writing). Best, Nigel
