VIEWPOINT What’s mine is mine What’s yours is yours Too much trouble to look beyond My own backyard Safety in staying at home Within my own circle of neighborhood friends What a loss~ There is no gain When I am fenced in A prisoner of my own choosing To know so little To see only a tiny piece Of the whole earthly design What gain~ To open my eyes and see The awesome and infinite variety Of you and me To appreciate your view To see our commonness And celebrate our uniqueness To openly share Thus learning to care To understand one anothers struggles And feel the others pain To hold your hand And touch your heart mja
