View From the Looking Glass
You say you're old, but I don't see it
Your wrinkles are just lines of wisdom
Your hair is not gray, but silver
Your eyes are not dull, but deep
You say you're ugly, but I don't believe it
Your body is not a flaw, but a feature
Your shape is not a problem, but a preference
Your skin is not a blemish, but a beauty mark
You say you're sick, but I don't feel it
Your health is not a curse, but a challenge
Your pain is not a burden, but a blessing
Your weakness is not a fault, but a strength
You say you're blind, but I don't mind it
Your vision is not a loss, but a gain
Your sight is not a need, but a choice
Your perspective is not a limit, but a gift
You say you're sorry, but I don't hear it
Your regret is not a sin, but a lesson
Your mistake is not a stain, but a story
Your apology is not a plea, but a praise
You say you're old, ugly, sick, and blind
But I say you're young, beautiful, well, and wise
You say you're nothing, but I say you're everything
You say you're me, but I say you're you
