Vietnam Reflections 37

vietnam reflections 37

i touch the dead
with my hands
and my eyes
and my mind
as they lay there
composed
contorted
eyes open non seeing
their whole lives
came before me
as i drew pictures
of them from their birth
to death
and counted each breath they took
that brought them here
