Victory

Stepping forward,
Leaning over victory.
Stepping into the ring,
Lurching toward,
What should be mine.
Closing my eyes,
Breathing deeply.
Watching as my breath grows cold.
Words swaying by me,
Fists being thrown in the air,
Mimicing my footsteps.
The oath of life,
Falling between my fingers.
You see me,
You think of nothing.
My footsteps,
Becoming leaps.
From leaps,
To victory.
My eyes shooting around the world,
The critisism growing into blackness,
Filling the air.
I lurch forward,
Drawing out my plan,
Mocking what you thought you knew.
