Yes, the stigma of seeing bloodshed seems to stay with young people for the rest of their lives. They never come home the same as they were before leaving for warm. Nice reflection for Memorial Day weekend. They deserve our gratitude. Love, Carolyn

They hold it inside and some never recover from the tragedy..I have seen too many walking the streets when i lived in New York, romancing the memory of war, never regaining what they had before the call of war beckoned...strong writing.
