Verve On Bike

Town cyclist flying,
by, ray of sunshine mood lift,
whose beam can “bridge” that distance,
on grey monday morn,
isn’t it breathtaking then,
such heart in “civic” passage

Hello Howard, I felt the cyclist as more than just a figure on the road; he becomes a ray of sunshine, bridging distance and lifting mood on a grey Monday morning. The choka form serves the imagery well, giving each line its own while still flowing as one. Holiday Blessings, Howard, Daniel

I like this one. It seems like it has been a long time since I have read about or tried to write a choka. I need to look it up again. Thanks for reminding me about them, Howard. Way to go. Sara K
