More on musing and inspiration on the prompt
I knew I’ve written the worst verse ever When my sweetheart found another girl Then in there I’ve disclosed some secrets Like body odor and his horrible foul breath. Our first dating moments were disgusting His kisses and ways of hugging If hugged, a synthetic statue I got an allergy from his kisses, too. Transformed by my selfless love Changed his bath soap from Tender Care to Dove Set aside muti-toothpastes Took an advice and went to see dentists. A day I’ve found him with another girl I roared like lion with vision's swirl Stepped backward, grabbed my pen and paper And wrote a verse — the worst one in the universe, ever! Emotions poured out profusely through my ink Spilling his kind of love that disappeared in a wink As madness bursts with tear-drops I scribbled that worst verse about his secrets in all caps… Your love is an absolute handicap A waste of time…a piece of crap! I’ll never hang myself with a rope There’s a better man out there waiting, I’ll elope. Last lines were my lessons learned, loud and clear: Toxic relationship is one-way loving and giving care We'll end up in depression then cry And ask why love is a dove that’ll fly.
