Vernal Love

I fell in love among the daffodils, Those golden maids who dance in early spring, My heart bid farewell to its winter chill, As I saw beauty in everything, The morning sun reflects upon my quill, Release the words my heart now longs to sing, Among the daffodils comes something new And all my words can say is – ‘I love you!’ Form: Ottava Rima
