Vergastio

and I came close to destroying whatever I wanted
but I held back because there was still you
and within that power from another galaxy
I saw that the spheres mechanism sometimes jams
I saw stones breaking other stones
and from them bits of light escaping the darkness
not even your eyes meant so much
when the waters drifted
washed the husk of the houses
and the walls of the trees
and it was just you there keeping yourself monumental
emerging single in life from among the mudflats
we demigods have a lot to celebrate
because we just started to fall apart

Red Star at Daylight! I have read hundreds of works here on the page. Few have the stature of Red Star. Playing with words, making correlations that are almost crazy things, but full of meaning... that's for few people, you know. Congratulations, man! You, like me, must have spent a good part of your life immersed in the damn books!!!
