Verba De Futuro
The fellow is either mad or composing verse;
And so to the point of causing nausea
Do I count the brightest hours
Between us, not many, but much
Slowly, slowly, we will get there
As circumstances allow, I am closest to myself
How fearful, is this hour, which shall separate us
Time waits for no one, from here on then
With what has been achieved will then be finished
By writing this is to act, and therefore in this writing
Essentially, it says,
'If you can read this, you're over educated.'
In my humble opinion, whether gentleman or scholar
He should be useful and pleasant, to be used and abused
Words about the future, a word to wise be it sufficient
Splendour without end hovers between hope and fear
Nothing new these days, as everyone is doing it.
As of ones own kind, in silence, in secret!
He that is silent is thought to consent
By this, keep in faith, peace and salvation
Through difficulties to great things;
The healing power of nature
Is middling the course with highest honour,
To know yourself look at the bottom line
A following age will be amazed, our bond of unity
True love will hold on to those whom it has held
As the fear of death confounds me!
I hope we'll still be friends.
