VENUE OF VULTURES full-bodied wings cling to turkey vultures venturing across my path headed for no man’s land 3/21/2019 Writing Challenge 4 March 2019 Kimo Poetry Contest Sponsor - Dear Heart *A group of vultures can be called a committee, kettle, wake, and as in my title a “venue.” I was driving on a backroad and was forced to stop and was delighted to see such a sight. Although later, I pondered where they were headed and why. ** in this case, I define “no man’s land” as undesirable.

Kim, congratulations on your win in my contest. Vultures are such an ugly bird but I suppose to another vulture they are beautiful, they have to eat too ~

Oh, to be a vulture! Yuck. Your Kimo is the opposite of yuck though - good job. Very interesting terms for a group of yucks - you learned me something. Poetry hugs ... CayCay
