Velvet Love
Your skin glows like bonfires,
blossoms cute as the lily in the purest hope of spring
My yearning heart rises to your majestic voice and leaps like a lioness at the whisper of your name
The evening ascends in on a great nightingale wing
I am calmed by your nightly visits that I carry into the twilight of dreams
I am filled with hope that I may dry your tears of wine
As my mouth falls from your lips, it reminds me heavens
In the hushed tranquility, I listen for the last cry of the spring
My heated eyes leaps to your gaze
I wait in the crystal moonlight for your secret desire so that we may wish as one, eyes to eyes, in search of the glorious velvet love.
