Vaporised Self

Poised attention, unexpectant 
With soul and body minds aligned
Vibrant and yet in contentment 
Playing out life role, as assigned

Subtle longings, heart still aspires 
Poised attention, unexpectant 
Presence of form, signals desire
Ego urge, far from decadent 

Veiled is souls light, luminescent 
Thought rested stillness holds the key 
Poised attention, unexpectant 
Enlivened by each breaths entrée 

In timeless time, we vaporise 
Free from lower mind sediment 
Childlike heart, thriving on surprise 
Poised attention, unexpectant
