Vanquish My Doubts
My God, may You find me always trusting Your promises*
Including every declaration of Yours that blesses
Since You’re the omnipotent Lord Who prevails over evil curses
With Your protection from sinfulness-distresses.
Please vanquish my doubts as You smite unbelief’s forces.
Dear Lord, please direct me constantly by Your leadership
And draw me nigh to Your heart in prayer-fellowship
For You’re the gracious Saviour I must sincerely worship
While feasting in Your blessings midst work’s partnership.
Please vanquish my doubts, and increase my faith against hardship.
*2Corinthians 7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God.
