Vanishing Gloaming - triolet

The sleepy day shutting its eyes
As sunlight slides behind the hill.
While brooding lilac shadows rise,
The sleepy day shutting its eyes.
Dawn's final breath of quiet sighs
And all the world is growing still.
The sleepy day shutting its eyes
As sunlight slides behind the hill.
