Vangogh Sunflowers

their straw like green stem
sucks up the seltzer water in the vase
and spritzes VanGogh sunflowers

Hi! I own a book with a painting of his sunflowers. So beautiful and such talent. What a tragic life he had and him not knowing how famous he would become. Thanks for the memories with your haiku. A 7. Darlene

beautiful imagery - such a shame his work was not recognised until after his death - I posted a clerihew about him yesterday and have been fascinated reading about his life :-) Hugs Jan xx
