Vampyre
"Vampyre"
you can’t blame your father
for not taking you to the circus
your mother was alienated
for another Russia
blood tastes like wine
when you’re running on empty
sick and tired on the inside
others think they’ve worked you out
yet you remain
buried, you are
hiding deep inside
within all the noise, you’re still
an abused child
the Vampyre
in your dreams
smiles a friendly smile
takes your hand, no reflection
the only friend you had
quite closed off
grey rocked
mindfield trip wired
l'enfant terrible
you’ve been keeping
a seasoned
soul seeking
secret inside
like God
you’re immortal
innocent
inside

“You think the worst of all
Is far behind
The vampyre of time and memories
Has died, I've survived
I speak, I breathe
I'm incomplete
I'm alive, hooray
You're wrong again 'cause I feel no love
Does anyone ever get this right?
Does anyone ever get this right?
I feel no love
I feel no love …”
"I am the wealthiest man, not just in Europe,
but in the whole world. I collect emotions.
I am wealthy in that the people of Russia
have twice entrusted me with the leadership
of a great nation such as Russia -
I believe that is my greatest wealth."
Vladimir Putin
