Vampire Sonnets Sonnet of a Newborn Vampire

All I felt was excruciating pain
until I awoke lying in the rain;
Crimson stained lips and a new set of eyes
insatiable thirst raging deep inside;

Splattered with raindrops I wanted to drink,
all consuming rush  I could barely think;
In the midst of night so easy to fool,
instinct told me what I needed to do;

What an incredibly amusing stunt
to acquire skills and a desire to hunt;
I always knew that I never quite fit
sadistic smile as I learned what you did;

Made me your partner in this massacre,
gifted the grace of a new born vampire.
